At the recently concluded Connections 2008 Executive Users' Conference, we showed off a few applications that leveraged the Xtended Services Interface (Xsi). These applications were concept apps, meant to show the ease of use and speed with which Twitter, TiVo, iGoogle, etc can be integrated with voice: the voice being delivered by a BroadWorks-powered network.
We used the Google gadget framework to host 2 web applications. These can be used to receive your call history and your voicemail in a visual format, along with transcription. Here are links to both applications: Call History, Visual Voicemail.
We wrote a quick-hit iPhone application that is a simple click-to-call using the Xsi's new call command (a RESTful HTTP POST). The application uses BroadWorks Anywhere: a feature within BroadWorks that makes any number (including a mobile phone) look like a BroadWorks-hosted number. Read more here.
The TiVo set-top box has as API, with an environment to host external applications that can run within a TiVo (http://tivohme.sourceforge.net). We used this environment to show BroadWorks call history and click to call, all from a TiVo screen.
The Chumby device (http://www.chumby.com) uses widgets to show custom content. We showed off a BroadWorks-specific widget that runs on a Chumby.
Using Twitter's API, we listened for tweets from users with a BroadWorks-based VoIP account, and used text in those tweets to place calls. Using Twitter's built-in SMS ability, an SMS sent from your twitter device could be used to initiate a call. Read this for more.

Nope not yet, we're working a few things, and I'm writing a quick doc before we post. It should be up in a week or so.
