The Chumby (http://www.chumby.com) is a unique Internet-enabled consumer electronics device that has the ability to run cool Adobe Flash Lite applications called "widgets" from the web. These widgets allow the Chumby to display photos from Facebook and include Traffic Cams, RSS feeds, the weather, clock, and the list goes on.

The Xtended Chumby Widget allows you view your call history, click to return missed, placed or received calls, and to set Do Not Disturb using the Xtended Services Interface.
Xtended Chumby Widget provides a good example of how BroadSoft Xtended can be leveraged to provide solutions for residential or consumer markets.
Since the Chumby device is a touchscreen, the Xtended Chumby Widget user experience was created in such a way as to allow simple and intuitive operation.
The Chumby Widget supports the following features:
View Call Logs: View your call history.
The Xtended Chumby Widget’s design demonstrates how the Xtended Service Interface can be used in a hardware device. It also shows the breadth of languages you can utilize to provide voice integration solutions.
The Adobe Flash tool was used to generate the Flash Lite 3 content compatible with the Chumby device. The chumby.com website provides developers a “virtual chumby” environment for testing applications online even if developers don’t own the physical device.
The Chumby supports the concept of a channel where a series of widgets cycle through in intervals. All widgets are hosted by the chumby portal site, along with each widget’s preferences. Upgrades to widgets are automatically performed by the device periodically or upon startup. All this leads to an improved and simplified interaction with the end user.
The Chumby comes in 3 colors and can be purchased from their website.
