Its been a busy October for Xtended to say the least. If you were tapping into all the buzz from Connections 2009 which concluded last week you know what we mean. Some highlights:
We had a fantastic Show Me the Apps session at Connections 2009 again this year. More than 15 applications participated in a riveting Oscar-like 90 minute session that continued to demonstrate your collective talent and out-of-box thinking. We were thrilled to have all our XCv2 winners present on stage, and yes, we instituted the BroadSoft Appy going forward. An Oscar look-alike we hope will continue to make our developer contests fun, glamorous and worth innovating for! Well let us not spoil the fun...lets wait for the video which will be posted here soon.
Xtended is getting down to business. One of our key announcements at Connections 2009 was a new eCommerce enabled Marketplace which is focused on letting our developer community on board and sell applications directly to end-users of BroadWorks powered services through branded applications stores we will create for our Service Providers. We are sure you are both excited and have lots of questions on this topic. A full FAQ and lot more process details coming soon as well. The link to our announcement is here and some comments from Jon Arnold of Analyst 2.0 fame are here.
Lot more info coming soon...stay tuned!
