BroadWorks exposes a rich and varied set of Interfaces, allowing access and control via protocols like SOAP, SIP, SNMP, CDR, Radius, XML, HTTP(s) and more. These interfaces allow integration in areas such as System & User Service Data Control, Call Accounting & Billing records, Alarm & Fault Management, User Call Control, Voice (and Video) Calls using SIP, etc.

The Xtended Developer Program offers support for the Open Client Interface (OCI) set of system interfaces, whose two major interfaces are OCI-P (Open Client Interface - Provisioning) and CAP (Client Application Protocol).

As this program evolves, information and resources for other BroadWorks interfaces will be added to the website, removing impediments in developing applications over BroadWorks-based systems.
